Wine Glass Charms
Which wine is mine?
You and your guests won't
have to ask that question once you craft some custom wine glass charms for
your next party or get together. Wine glass charms are easily
attached to the stem of any wine glass, giving it an elegant touch and
unique appearance. Glasses can be given different looks through the
use of different charms, different beads, or combination of the two.
They make great gifts, too. Show up for that next party with the
gift of wine glass charms and you can be the one to add that special touch
for everyone. |

How to:
What you will need:
- Needle Nose or Rosary Pliers - choose
tools with smooth jaws. Tools with grooved jaws are more likely
to scratch and mar the surface of the wire you're working with.
- Wine
Rings - click to view more information on our silver wine
charm hoops.
- Some
Beads - we have many to choose from:
- Charms
- we have a great selection of fine lead-free silver coated pewter
charms.

Step
1
Start with the wine glass ring. Notice that one end of the hoop is
flattened and has a hole in it, this will become the clasp later
on. Twist the hoop to allow space to thread your beads on. |
Step
2
Do not pull or stretch the loop open, but rather twist the ends to
give you the space you need. This will help the hoop retain it's
shape and clip together better later on. Now thread your beads and
charm on in the desired order. |
|
 |
 |
Step
3
You may use a small number of beads and one charm (as shown), or you
may choose to fill the entire hoop with beads, finish with bead caps,
spacer beads, use lampwork beads, etc. Your imagination is the
only limit. |
Step
4
Once you have the desired number and placement of beads and charms
on the wine ring, grasp the round end of the wire hoop very near the end
and bend upwards, away from the hoop itself, to form a 90 degree angle. |
|
 |
 |
Step
5
This should leave you with something similar to pictured
above. |
Step
6
To finish, simply place around the stem of your wine glass and slide
the small tab you've bent upward through the small hole on the other end
of the hoop to fasten and you're done! |
